About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Fire and Security Engineer

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the

installation, service, maintenance, and fault-finding

of a range of fire and security systems across commercial and domestic sites.

You'll be working with modern technology and a variety of systems including

fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control

Key Responsibilities

Install, service, maintain, and repair

fire alarm systems

,

intruder alarms

,

CCTV

, and

access control systems

. Carry out

fault finding and system testing

in line with current standards (BS5839, BS6266, etc.). Conduct routine maintenance visits and respond to callouts as required. Complete accurate service reports, certificates, and relevant documentation. Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on site. Comply with company procedures and health & safety requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a

Fire and/or Security Engineer

(3+ years preferred). Knowledge of major systems such as

Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Honeywell, Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton

, or similar. Good understanding of relevant

British Standards

and industry best practices. Full UK driving licence (essential). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications

FIA Unit training (Fire Detection Design, Installation, Maintenance, etc.) ECS/CSCS card or equivalent. IPAF / PASMA certification. Experience with integrated fire & security solutions

Pay: 34,000.00-42,000.00 per year
