Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multiskilled Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of intruder, access control, CCTV & fire systems and will be responsible for the installation, and maintenance of these systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and practical skills to ensure that all safety measures are effectively implemented and maintained. Be knowledgeable with both Nsi and SSAIB standards and be able to work either alone or as part of a team. Responsibilities

Collaborate with contractors, and other engineers to integrate systems into building designs.

Utilise hand tools and power tools for the installations & Maintenance/servicing.

Perform routine service and maintenance on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.

Provide technical support to customers.

Prepare documentation including reports, manuals, and compliance certificates related to intruder, CCTV, Fire systems.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Ability to work with various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on system design and implementation.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and customers.

Do you have experience of working with fire alarms and associated systems to relevant British Standards? Proficiency in working with leading brands such as Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, BPT, and others. At least 3 years' experience as an installation engineer in fire and security systems.
