Description
Due to business growth First City Fire and Security Ltd are now looking to recruit a new apprentice to support with the future proofing of the business and service demand. First City Fire and Security Ltd are keen to offer individuals the chance to secure a career within the fire and security sector.
The sucessful apprentice will be supported from day 1 and will be assigned an engineer for mentoring. All apprentices will have their travel paid for via the expenses policy in arrears. PPE will also be provided if required.
These will be both full time with block training release to Warrington
The succesful apprentice will work across both Security and Fire and as a result will grow to become a multi disciplined engineer.
Each day can be different depending on the client and jobs that are to be completed.
This will include, but not lmited to, the installation, repair and maintenance of fire and security systems.
Entry requirements
Maths and English GCSE's at grade 4 or above. If you don't have this, you will need to sit this along side your apprenticeship.
18+
No criminal record and able to pass an enhanced DBS
Live near to the office
Hold a full UK drivers licence
Ideally have their GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 or above or Functional Skills Level 2 equivalent
Training to be provided
Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at their Warrington centre. You will attend centre one week every eight weeks.
You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.
You will be required to complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company require you to complete.
