The Opportunity

We're looking for a skilled and customer-focused

Fire and Security Service Engineer

to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of fire and security systems. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, a proactive attitude, and a genuine dedication to delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

Service and maintain fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, gates, and barriers Perform routine inspections and ensure systems meet compliance standards Diagnose and repair faults efficiently Provide technical support to clients and colleagues Keep accurate service records and documentation Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships Stay current with industry standards and technologies Participate in emergency on-call rota Travel occasionally to support clients nationwide

Requirements

Proven experience in fire and security systems Strong knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, gates, and barriers Electrical/electronic engineering qualifications FIA or BAFE certification (preferred) Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Able to work independently and in a team Full UK driving licence Willingness to travel and work flexible hours Customer-focused with a proactive attitude

Desirable Extras

Experience with GENT Fire systems Fault-finding skills for gates and barriers IPAF and ECS certifications
