Leda Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of a major logistics company involved in a large-scale construction project in
Oxfordshire
.We are looking for an experienced and qualified
Fire Warden
to take responsibility forfire safety procedures and compliance
on a busy, active construction site. This is a critical role to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and logistics operations.Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary Fire Warden on-site, maintaining vigilance and safety standards at all times Carry out daily fire safety checks and inspections of fire points, equipment, and escape routes Lead on emergency evacuation procedures and fire drills Monitor contractor compliance with site fire safety protocols Liaise with site management, logistics, and emergency services as needed Keep accurate records of fire safety checks, drills, and incidents
Essential Requirements:
Valid
IFE (Institution of Fire Engineers) Fire Warden Certificate
Prior experience working onconstruction or logistics sites
Strong understanding of fire safety legislation and procedures Confident communicator and able to lead in emergency situations Excellent attention to detail and commitment to health & safety best practiceThis is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile project and play a vital role in maintaining a
