About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Fire Door Engineer

to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire doors and associated passive fire protection components, ensuring full compliance with current regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install new fire doorsets to manufacturer and industry specifications Carry out fire door inspections, producing clear and accurate reports Conduct maintenance, repairs, and remedial works on existing fire doors Ensure all work complies with the latest fire safety and building regulations Use digital reporting tools to document work carried out Liaise with clients, site managers, and internal teams Maintain professional standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Fire Door Engineer or Fire Door Carpenter Strong knowledge of fire door regulations, installation requirements, and compliance standards FDIS, BM TRADA, or similar accreditation (preferred but not essential) CSCS card (essential) Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturer specifications Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills Full UK driving licence Right to work in the UK
