Job Title: Fire Door Engineer

We are seeking an experienced

Fire Door Engineer

to join our growing team, covering

Hampshire and the surrounding areas

. The successful candidate will be responsible for the

installation, inspection, maintenance, and certification of fire doors

in line with current UK legislation and industry standards.

This is a hands-on role suited to a competent professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, compliance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Installation of fire doors and associated components to a high standard Inspection and assessment of existing fire doors in accordance with

BS 8214

and

Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005

Carrying out remedial works where required Accurately completing inspection reports, certification, and records Ensuring all works comply with current fire safety regulations Communicating professionally with clients, site managers, and internal teams Maintaining tools, van, and materials in good working order

Requirements

Proven experience as a

Fire Door Engineer

Experience installing fire doors and frames, full sets and full assemblies

NVQ or equivalent in carpentry or joinery

Competent in both

installation and inspection

of fire doors Knowledge of UK fire door regulations and standards Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Full UK driving licence Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
Relevant qualifications (e.g. BM TRADA, FDIS, FIRAS or equivalent) are highly desirable.
