This role involves both the
installation of new fire door sets
and the
completion of remedial works
on existing doors. You must have excellent attention to detail and ensure all work meets our rigorous quality and safety standards.
Applicants must live locally to Doncaster or the surrounding area.
Key Responsibilities
Install and maintain fire doors (FD30/FD60) in line with current regulations and company standards.
Carry out remedial and inspection work on existing fire doors.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete installation and maintenance tasks.
Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
Measure, fabricate, and fit components accurately.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
Proven experience in
fitting, maintaining, and inspecting fire doors
.
Understanding of
fire door regulations and compliance requirements
.
NVQ or equivalent qualification in
Carpentry or Joinery
.
Proficient use of hand tools and power tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Must live
within the Doncaster area or nearby
.
Desirable:
Experience working across sites in Nottingham, Leicester, Leeds, Sheffield, and Aberdeen. Must be willing to travel up to a 2-hour radius from your home address. All fuel expenses covered, with the potential for a company van.
