Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fire Door Installer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire doors to ensure compliance with current fire safety standards and building regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation of new fire doors, frames, and associated ironmongery.
Remedial works, and maintenance of existing fire doors.
Ensuring all work complies with relevant legislation, standards, and company quality procedures.
Accurately completing digital traceability reports.
Working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
Minimum NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry/Joinery.
Proven experience in carpentry and joinery, with a strong focus on door installation.
Good knowledge of fire door regulations, standards, and best practice.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable (Advantageous):
Third-party accreditation such as
FIRAS
,BM Trada Q-Mark
, or equivalent.Experience with fire door maintenance and remedial works.
Additional health & safety training (Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, etc.).
