Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced
Self-Employed Fire Door Installer
to join our team on a contract basis. You will be responsible for the installation, and maintenance of fire doors across various residential and commercial sites. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who takes pride in high-quality work and understands the importance of fire safety compliance.Key Responsibilities:
Install and maintain fire doors to the latest industry and safety standards Ensure all installations are compliant with current fire regulations (including BS 8214 and other relevant standards) Conduct fire door inspections and make recommendations for repairs or replacements Provide accurate documentation of work completed Liaise with clients and site managers professionally and efficiently Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of proven experience
installing fire doors Thorough understanding of fire door regulations and compliance requirements Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Own tools FIRAS, BM TRADA, or other fire door accreditation (desirable but not essential) Strong attention to detail and commitment to safetyBenefits:
