We are seeking a skilled carpenter / Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various installation tasks, demonstrating proficiency with hand and power tools. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Installer will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and are completed in a timely manner. We also offer training and career progression into certified fire door inspection for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
Install and maintain fire doors and fire exit doors and associated hardware
Carry out remedial works and adjustments following inspection reports
Attend site visits to measure up and meet clients for proposed projects
Work on-site and in our workshop
Read and interpret inspection reports to identify required works
Ensure compliance with BS 8214, BS EN 1634, and the Fire Safety Order 2005
Maintain a clean and safe workspace, using hand and power tools responsibly
Communicate effectively with team members and management
Qualifications
Proven experience in installation work or a related field is preferred - carpentry.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to installation tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
Bring solutions to unexpected problem if they occur.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites.
