Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Subcontractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering and construction, with the ability to manage projects effectively while ensuring high-quality outcomes. This role requires proficiency in various technical skills, including CAD software and programming languages, to support the design and implementation of systems. The Subcontractor will collaborate with our team to deliver innovative solutions that meet client specifications.

Responsibilities

Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Utilise AutoCAD and SolidWorks for creating detailed schematics and designs. Manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system automation and control. Develop scripts using Python and C++ for data analysis and system integration. Engage in systems engineering practices to optimise system performance and reliability. Perform system design tasks, ensuring compliance with GD&T standards. Apply mathematical principles to solve complex engineering problems. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge in construction-related tasks and projects. Conduct data analysis to inform decision-making processes within projects. Provide laboratory experience support as required for testing and validation of designs.

Qualifications

Proven experience in project management within an engineering or construction environment. Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks, is essential. Strong understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and systems engineering principles. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB is advantageous. Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to apply them in practical scenarios. Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction practices is preferred. Strong analytical skills with a focus on data analysis techniques. Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
