We are seeking a Restoration Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by fire or flood. You will be assisting a Restoration Technician with strip-out works on properties following insurance claims, helping to uphold the high standard of service we are known for.

Our work is within the insurance sector, meaning we are instructed by insurance companies we are required to work within certain guidelines and follow specific criteria. We are expected to provide a service that responds to a disaster in an individual's property by managing that situation efficiently and effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be reliable and hardworking with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Supporting and assist the Restoration Technician with every aspect of the strip out works/deconstruction and removal of flooring plasterboard, woodwork and other building material for disposal
Assist the Restoration Technician with both internal and external restoration work, studwork, boarding, basic plumbing, patch plastering, carpentry, tiling, kitchen & bathroom installations
Assist with the Install drying programs and equipment
Using a variety of specialist equipment, including but not limited to drying equipment and ice blasting equipment
Use the appropriate tools, materials and equipment
Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Be willing to work away if necessary.
Working in clients' businesses or homes maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored safety 'clean as you go'

Display good communication skills/great customer care approach
Excellent grasp of both written and verbal English
Work independently and as part of a team
Possess a high degree of manual dexterity as there will be frequent use of hand tools
A willingness to learn new skills, have good organisation and problem-solving skills, and an appreciation for health and safety
Due to the nature of the role, you must be able to undertake a variety of physically demanding tasks and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, you may occasionally be required to work at height or be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.
Good time management to complete tasks efficiently.
A positive attitude, with a motivated approach and able to use own initiative.
Able to provide a basic DBS check if successful and have the right to work in the UK
Willingness to travel to different jobsites as required. The role will involve staying away
A full driving licence, and willingness to travel throughout the UK with requirement to stay away if needed.
