Fire Protection Division - Carson Powell Construction Ltd
After securing a number of contracts in Care Homes, Schools and Hospitals, our Fire Protection Division is seeking to appoint a Project Manager to join the team that offers world class Fire Protection services to our clients.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Head of Department, the role involves managing and executing multiple fire protection projects (including Fire Door Installation, Fire Door Maintenance / Repairs / Inspections and Fire Stopping) ensuring client satisfaction.
This role is responsible for surveying jobs, ordering, planning, and executing Fire Protection Projects according to the agreed timelines and budgets, ensuring quality control throughout.
Key Skills required
Ideally you will have a joinery background with a practical knowledge of Fire Door installation, Fire Door maintenance techniques and Fire Door Inspections.
Knowledge of Fire Stopping / Compartmentation would also be desirable.
Project Manager skills with experience of managing projects from start through to completion.
Planning and Time Management skills
Excellent communication and Customer Service skills ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of the project's progress.
Delegation and Motivation - be responsible for ensuring that tasks are delegated effectively.
Budgetary accountabilities - responsible for ensuring job profitability
Proficient level of computer skills (microsoft packages)
Full driving licence - a car allowance would be provided
