Fire & Security Engineers x 2

To deliver the complete installation, maintenance, and commissioning of fire detection and security systems, including fire-rated hose reels, in accordance with all relevant standards and legislative requirements. This role ensures the provision of a safe, compliant, and high-quality service that meets or exceeds client expectations. The engineer will provide technical expertise across the team and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

- Install, commission, and maintain fire detection and alarm systems, CCTV (IP and analogue), intruder alarms, access control, and emergency lighting.

- Install, test, and maintain fire-rated hose reels in accordance with BS EN 671-1:2012.

- Conduct fault finding and remedial work on existing systems.

- Maintain clear and accurate records, including commissioning certificates and test results.

- Proficient in using Microsoft and various inhouse software packages, have basic IT networking knowledge, able to use manufacturer software tools to complete IP networking

QUALIFICATIONS & PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS:

FIA Unit 1-5 or equivalent. NVQ Level 3 in Fire, Emergency & Security Systems (FESS). ECS FESS Gold Card. IOSH Working Safely or equivalent. BS7858 Enhanced Security Screening. Competency to install and commission portable fire extinguishers in accordance with BS 5306-3:2017 and BS 5306-8:2012. Competency to install and commission fire-rated hose reels in accordance with BS EN 671-1:2012.
Completion of all relevant Gent training modules and certifications, including: Vigilon Basic Commissioning

Vigilon Advanced Commissioning

Vigilon Networking

WINMAG V6 for Vigilon - Commissioning Course

45k to 50k

Overtime

Travel Time at the appropriate rate (giving 30 mins each way)

Ability to earn commission

Vehicle - Van / Car

25 days holiday (plus bank hols) 33 in total
