To undertake Fire Alarm / CCTV / Intruder maintenance, reactive and small works, working within the Security and Fire team whilst operating in compliance with company policy and procedure.
Principle Accountabilities:
Representing the company in a professional and competent manner at all times and developing strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
Delivery of Fire Alarm / Emergency Lighting/ CCTV / Intruder & Access Maintenance works on site in compliance with the agreed Service Level Agreement and within agreed timescales.
Liaison with the Service Team at all times striving to ensure that all works are delivered on time.
Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, CBES HSE management systems, procedures or instructions as they apply and to ensure that all colleagues and sub-contractors follow safe systems of work on site.
Working on a stand-by rota. Attending corrective calls efficiently.
Identification and resolution of repair, maintenance and installation issues that may occur during service delivery.
Ensuring company vehicle is kept clean, well maintained and serviced as required.
Working on a call out rota to cover Out of Hours calls.
Comply with any other reasonable management instruction.
Key Performance Indicators:
Delivery of works in compliance with the clients specification and within agreed timescales.
Quality of work - Achieving completion of monthly planned maintenance works.
Achieve and maintain 100% H & S and job related competence.
Maintenance of company vehicle.
Required Skills
The ideal candidate should have:
A proven background and experience of both Fire Alarms & Security.
FIA qualifications and a full understanding of BS5839 is essential.
Knowledge of integration of detection systems into other disciplines would be a real advantage.
Good communication skills are required as much of the role will involve being in a customer facing environment.
The ability to work alone and effectively organise your time.
A good understanding of the Standards which relate to our Industry and the systems we install is required.
A good understanding of Health and Safety is essential.
A full clean driving licence and a willingness to travel to locations across the country.

Willingness to go the extra mile.
A flexible attitude to working hours is necessary and we require a willingness to travel to locations across the country. Some overnight stays may be required but these will be kept to a minimum.
Self-motivated and a team player, demonstrating professionalism, positivity and proactive.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates must have electrical background and experience in Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting or similar systems and must be Fire Extinguisher trained. Ideally a minimum of five years' experience.
