Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated fire and security engineer to join our growing team of engineers working primarily across the North of England locations include Yorkshire, Deeside and Lincolnshire.

Responsibilities

Installation, reactive and preventative maintenance on fire and security systems. Knowledge of industry standards. Take part in local on call rota, currently 1 in 3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware and networking equipment. Read and interpret specifications, layout drawings and schematics for effective system installation and troubleshooting. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security technologies and best practices. Provide training and support to staff on security protocols and system usage.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a Security Engineer role or similar position. Strong understanding of computer networking principles and practices. Familiarity with power tools and electrical systems is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills and adherence to company policies and procedures. Relevant certifications and experience of enterprise level security systems are preferred but not essential. ZE Global are a certified partner of Lenel, Genetec, Milestone and Gallagher systems. Fire system or PAVA experience would be desirable. A proactive approach to learning new technologies and methodologies within the security field. Proficient in MS office range of products.
Salary negotiable dependent on experience.

Travel allowance paid monthly

Full UK Driving Licence.
