Job Advert Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Firearms Licensing Support in Firearms and Explosives Licensing.

What you will be doing?




To provide efficient and timely service to Firearms, Shotgun and Explosives certificate holders across the force area.



To provide the first point of contact and give advice in relation Firearms Licensing matters.



To process and scrutinise all applications for Firearms, Shotguns and Explosives certificates, utilising Niche, PNC and PND and recognise, and highlight any risk issues at the earliest opportunity.

Please note, there is an additional role available on a temporary basis for maternity cover until 31st May 2026.
