Medical Administration & Record Keeping:

Meticulously maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for all students, ensuring staff are informed of relevant medical needs and administering prescribed medications safely and precisely in line with student healthcare plans. This includes managing medication stock and expiry dates.

First Aid Management & Logistics:

Ensuring all first aid stock is fully supplied, well-maintained, and readily accessible. This also involves overseeing the proper use and storage of all first aid equipment, including defibrillators (AEDs) and managing internal reporting databases for incidents and injuries.

Health Planning & Liaison:

Collaborating with the NHS nursing team to discuss student medical needs, ensuring comprehensive medical plans are in place and liaising with the school's administrative team for paperwork and student data updates.

Immunisation Programme Coordination:

Arranging and overseeing the smooth running of school-based immunisation programmes throughout the academic year.

Policy & Compliance:

Upholding a strong culture of safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion, ensuring all first aid practices strictly adhere to the school's safeguarding, health & safety and first aid policies, as well as relevant national guidelines.
