Position: First Line Manager - Help-Desk
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Mon-Fri - day-time only - 37.5hrs per week - Flexibility will be required for business needs
Location: Stafford (ST18 9AR)

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a First Line Manager - Helpdesk to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

Role Purpose:

• Supporting the Transport Helpdesk Manager the FLM will be responsible for providing strong leadership to the Team Leaders, Coach and Helpdesk Team, ensuring KPI\'s are met, customer service is provided in a timely and professional manner and a timely resolution to any issues as they arise.
• The FLM will also ensure the team are operating in safe manner, encouraging H&S and are up to date with the latest information and training needed and hold regular performance reviews.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

Requirements:

• Experience leading a team in a Transport and Contact Centre environment
• Using own knowledge and skills to help the team achieve shared goals
• Communication skills that allow you to inform, help and advise customers clearly and to liaise effectively with other areas and levels
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, Internet and Outlook as well as internal systems
• Organisational and planning skills with an ability to prioritize and perform under pressure
• Good geographical knowledge on the UK and I
• A recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be well received.
