First Line Manager - Nights (4 on / 4 off)
Location: Coleford
34,000 per annum + 1,750 annual night allowance
Staffline are recruiting for an experienced First Line Manager (Nights) to join our team at Suntory, Coleford. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of night operations, working on a 4 on / 4 off rota, managing a busy logistics environment, and ensuring smooth coordination of transport activity on-site.
This position offers a competitive salary of 34,000 per annum, plus an additional 1,750 night allowance paid over the course of the year.
Pay and Shift Pattern:
34,000 per annum
1,750 annual night allowance
4 on / 4 off rolling rota
Night shift: 18:00 - 06:00 (12-hour shifts)
Your Time at Work
- Manage the day-to-day operation during the night shift, ensuring smooth and compliant delivery of customer products
- Book in vehicles at the customer site and take overall responsibility for drivers and vehicles on the road
- Ensure full transport compliance in line with DHL's earned recognition standards
- Communicate effectively with customers and ensure contractual and operational KPIs are consistently met
- Analyse operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Please note - this is a lone working position within the office; however, there will be other DHL team members and customer representatives on site during your shift.

- Proven experience in a First Line Manager, Transport Supervisor, or similar logistics leadership role
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge of transport compliance and legal driving requirements
