Job Overview

As a Fryer, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fried foods to meet our high standards of quality and taste. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all meals are prepared efficiently and safely, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook food items in the fryer according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed at all times. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the fryer station and surrounding areas. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal food quality. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and service. Help train new kitchen staff on fryer operation and safety procedures.

Skills

Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary environment is advantageous. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques in food preparation.
