We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Fish & Chip Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a restaurant or takeaway environment and be comfortable in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately
Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items meet quality and safety standards
Serve food and beverages in a professional and timely manner
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the shop area, including counters, tables, and kitchen surfaces
Supporting the team during busy service periods
Assisting with food preparation and cooking
Skills
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Experience with food preparation and kitchen operations is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with customers
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different roles within the team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.22-13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
