We are seeking a dedicated Fryer to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items using frying techniques, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and set up frying stations in accordance with recipes and safety standards
Cook food items to the correct temperature and texture, ensuring consistency and quality
Monitor frying equipment during operation, adjusting settings as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including cleaning fryers and utensils
Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Assist with meal preparation and other kitchen duties as required
Ensure timely delivery of freshly cooked food to service areas
Order inventory and stock required for the shop
Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is
essential
Knowledge of cooking techniques, particularly frying, is advantageous
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under pressure
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Previous experience in a restaurant or catering setting is essential
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required
Enthusiasm for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
