experienced fryer
to join us on this exciting journey.
The Role
As a Fryer, you will play a crucial role at the heart of our operation. This is not just a job -- it's a position for someone who takes genuine pride in their work and understands that consistency, cleanliness, and teamwork are essential to excellence.
You will be responsible for delivering
outstanding-quality fish and chips
, every portion, every shift, in line with our company standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Frying fish and chips to
exceptional standards
, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation at all times
Following all
company recipes, procedures, and portion controls
Managing fryer oil quality, temperatures, and timings correctly
Preparing and setting up your section efficiently before service
Supporting general
food prep
across the store as required
Working calmly and effectively during busy service periods
Maintaining the highest standards of
food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety
Closing down your section in a
controlled, safe, and organised manner
Cleaning fryers, equipment, and work areas thoroughly
Working closely with the rest of the team to ensure smooth service
Leading by example with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a fryer
in a fish and chip shop (essential)
A happy, positive, and
hard-working attitude
Someone who leaves negativity at the door --
no mood hoovers
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing top-quality food
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure
A genuine team player who supports colleagues and the wider business
Willingness to learn and improve, even with experience
References will be required

Pay: 12.21-17.05 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
