We are seeking a dedicated Fryer to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items using deep-frying techniques, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. Duties

Prepare ingredients and set up the fryer station for daily operations Cook food items to specified recipes and standards, maintaining consistent quality Monitor oil temperature and manage frying times to ensure optimal results Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the fryer area, adhering to food safety regulations Assist with other kitchen tasks such as meal preparation and plating when required Ensure all food is cooked safely, following hygiene protocols at all times Restock supplies and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly

Skills

Experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Previous restaurant or culinary experience is highly desirable Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods Good organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality service Serving experience is a plus, demonstrating customer-focused attitude
