Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Fishmonger to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for seafood and a talent for providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Seafood Handling:

Skilfully prepare, handle, and display seafood products, ensuring freshness and quality.

Customer Service:

Provide knowledgeable and friendly service to customers, advising on seafood selection and preparation.

Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate stock levels, order supplies, and manage product rotation to minimize waste.

Quality Control:

Ensure all products meet our strict quality standards and comply with health and safety regulations.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent qualification preferred. Previous experience as a Fishmonger or in a similar role within the food retail industry. Knowledge of different types of seafood and their preparation methods. Good communication and customer service skills. Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
