Fitness & Wellbeing Coach - The Grove



The Grove Health and Fitness team in East Devon is seeking a Fitness & Wellbeing Coach. This community-focused organisation aims to support wellbeing and improve lives through its services.

Role Overview:

Assist the Fitness & Wellbeing Lead in maintaining a safe, effective environment in the Health and Fitness Studio. Conduct individual fitness assessments, deliver training programmes, and offer advice related to exercise, nutrition, and injury prevention. Respond to customer queries, solve problems, and promote a welcoming atmosphere for members. Contribute to developing new health and fitness initiatives based on community needs. Participate in marketing activities, deliver tours to prospective members, and assist in acquiring new memberships. Support member retention through tools such as TRP and Journey Trackers, maintain gym equipment, and adhere to health and safety standards. Support instructor development through Pro Zone training, and, if qualified, may instruct group exercise classes.

Candidate Criteria:

Interest in health and fitness. Effective communication and customer service skills. Organisational and collaborative abilities, with a willingness to learn.
