We are looking for a friendly, energetic Fitness Coach to join our team at Elevation Health Club based at Old Thorns Hotel & Resort, Liphook, GU30 7PE.

Our health club is an extensive 20,000sqft with Matrix state of the art equipment and has fantastic views across our championship golf course. Our wet facilities include a 20m pool, subtropical pool, sauna, steam room and a bubble pool.

We are looking for someone who is energetic and passionate about providing health club members with excellent service. This role will mainly consist of inspiring and supporting our health club members to help them reach their personal goals.

Working as part of our Health Club team, you will be passionate and knowledgeable about health and fitness and be confident in providing members with outstanding inductions, programmes and training experience. The role will give you the opportunity to learn and develop, with the potential to progress within the company.

Old Thorns is a four-star resort in Hampshire and is easily accessible from the A3 from areas such as Guildford and Portsmouth. Old Thorns offers a wide range of accommodation, conference & function facilities, health club, beauty spa, restaurants & bars, and a championship golf course.

As standard, you will work 40 hours per week on a flexible rota, where weekend and evening work will be required.

Main Responsibilities:

To maintain a thorough understanding of health club facilities, events, promotions and policies and actively promote these to guests and members To meet and greet members, potential members and hotel guests with a friendly, engaging approach To greet guests and members in a polite and friendly manner To deliver the highest standards of customer service at all times To assist on the reception desk To engage with members of the club and encourage bookings into inductions, classes, personal training, etc To deliver high quality inductions, consultations, programmes and classes to all members To continually learn and develop by researching, training and testing the latest trends in the industry To ensure the Health Club is always well presented, and that high standards of cleanliness are maintained and undertake routine tasks as needed

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

Level 2 Fitness instructor (Gym) - Essential Level 3 Personal trainer - Desirable Previous experience in a similar role Good communication and interpersonal skills A passion for sport/fitness and well being The ability and drive to deliver great a great customer experience

Pay: Up to 27,040.00 per year
