ELA Active is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Full-Time Fitness Consultant to join our team. If you're passionate about fitness, customer service, and helping people achieve their goals, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging group exercise classes and tailored member inductions and programmes. Ensure exceptional customer service to retain members and support membership growth. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across the fitness suite and sports centre. Conduct gym tours for prospective members and assist with Duty Manager responsibilities and shift cover when required. Collaborate with the Head of Fitness to drive membership growth and retention. Deliver Personal Training, which includes a competitive per-session enhancement. Support front-of-house operations as needed.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications: A minimum Level 2 Fitness Instructor certification (Level 3 Personal Trainer certification is desirable or a willingness to achieve it). Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with members. Flexible, organised, and driven individuals with a professional approach. Willingness to complete additional training, including RLSS NPLQ lifeguard certification and National Pool Plant qualification.

Requirements:

During the probation period, obtaining the required qualifications is imperative for candidates lacking them. Necessary training will be provided to ensure successful completion.

National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ). National Pool Plant Certificate.

Other

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends, and early or late shifts, in alignment with opening hours. Dual site working across all ELA sites including Chesterton, Impington and Witchford where required.
