BodyView opened in January 2024 with 1 branch based in Whiteley, Hampshire. Since 2024, we have expanded to 5 branches across the South. We have recently expanded to the Midlands and we are now looking to open our 7th newest branch in Manchester.

As a rapidly expanding brand, we are looking for our next Fitness Specialist. Are you ready to turn your sport science knowledge into real world impact? We're looking for an energetic, motivated Fitness Specialist who lives and breathes performance, loves learning, and can back up their advice with the latest research. Key Responsibilities:

Fitness Testing

: Conducting DEXA body composition & Bone Mineral Density scans, VO2 Max, Fat Max and Resting Metabolic Rate tests along with 3D body scans. Using information from testing to advise customers on next steps to improve fitness or weight loss.

Customer Service

: Greet and welcome customers, ensuring a warm and professional atmosphere. Provide customers with in depth knowledge and guidance specific to their current fitness level and longevity goals

DEXA Scan Operation

: Talk customers through the scan procedure, ensuring they understand the process and feel comfortable. Maintain accurate customer records and ensure confidentiality of all customers information.

Full training on DEXA scanning will be provided

Consultation Support

: Explain DEXA scan results to customers, including body composition, bone density analysis and fitness testing results. Provide detailed information and guidance based on scan results. Promote follow-up consultations with customers to assist with their health and wellness goals.

Professional Development

: Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in health, fitness, and DEXA scan technology. Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
Qualifications:

Education

: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sport and Exercise Science, Strength and Conditioning or a sports related field. Level 3 PT qualification is essential with a minimum of 3 years experience Candidates studying towards these qualifications will also be considered

Experience

: Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a health or wellness setting. Experience with one to one or group appointments providing customers with clear actionable recommendations based on their on the day results. Experience with medical or fitness equipment, particularly DEXA scanners, is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.

Skills

: Ability to use your own initiative for problem solving. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and data entry.
Work Environment:

Hours

: Full-time hours (40 hours per week), may include some evening, early mornings and weekend work.

Physical Requirements

: Must be able to assist with client positioning

DEXA Training

: Please note DEXA training will be at either our Richmond, London or Southampton branch. Accommodation and travel costs will be provided during your training.
