Fitness to Practise Operations Manager




The GCC provides a regulatory framework for Chiropractors and ensures the safety of patients undergoing chiropractic treatment in the UK.

The Opportunity:




The Fitness to Practise Operations Manager will lead the department, overseeing and supervising the Investigators and Caseworkers, with full support and strategic guidance from the Director of Fitness to Practise.


Responsibilities will include the steady listing of cases before the Investigating Committee and the scheduling of hearings referred from the Investigating Committee, ensuring that the Director of Fitness to Practise is fully apprised of matters in the caseload and our performance data.

To develop and maintain good strategic leadership & direction To ensure high standard of performance management & quality assurance To oversee and review casework & operational delivery To effectively manage the performance and development of those in your team To maintain relationships ensuring good governance, audit & stakeholder engagement To uphold professional standards & flexibility, in line with the GCC's values

Our Ideal Candidate:




We are looking for an experienced manager with relevant experience in dealing with casework management, a good understanding of regulatory environments and their associated legal frameworks. The following skillset will be essential for success in this role:

University degree or equivalent Proven experience of casework management Experience that demonstrates the capability to understand the regulatory environment and legal frameworks. Experience of working in a politically sensitive environment and/or dealt with high profile sensitive issues Demonstrable track record of commitment to high standards of service delivery and excellent customer care Understanding of partnership working and the importance of developing relationships with key stakeholders.

Our Offer:



Salary of 61,136 per annum Hybrid working (one day per week onsite at our London office - SE11) Generous non-contributory pension 29 days annual leave plus bank holidays
