This is a full-time position with varied shifts (mornings & evenings), based on

4 days out of 7, including weekend work. Example shift patterns 6.45am-7.45pm / 8am-6pm.

LOCATION:

The Old Inn, Crawfordsburn

SALARY: 13.50 per hour.

There is an opportunity to earn additional commission for completing PT sessions (T's&C's apply)

About The Role

About the role:

We are seeking to recruit a new Fitness and Well-Being Instructor with excellent motivational skills, a passion for health and wellbeing, and relevant qualifications within the fitness industry. You will work alongside an existing Fitness & Well-Being Instructor to ensure that The Spa's brand principles of passion, professionalism are delivered.

The Position:

The main responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Conducting fitness and well-being classes and sessions for all clientele and spa members. Offering a high level of consistent, friendly, and efficient care to all spa clients and visitors. Acting as a point of reference for members, guests, and colleagues for fitness expertise within the resort and spa (including Fitness and Well-being guest feedback and customer service). Promoting staff well-being. Using the membership module to manage the membership database whilst keeping updated on key member personnel changes and to establish monitoring systems to ensure all member activity is recorded. Ensuring compliance with all health and safety legislation and working closely with the Health & Safety Officer. Ensuring the Fitness and Well-being facility and all equipment are maintained, clean, safe, and orderly. Ensuring that you are delivering high-quality programs and classes to clients. Delivering off-site fitness and wellbeing in alignment with risk assessments set out by the company. Ensuring that you are trained in industry updates to be continually successful to ensure that all clients are trained professionally. Enhancing profitability by organising and delivering an appropriate range of fitness activities and programmes. Managing the class and session schedules to ensure the highest uptake. Driving revenue to meet targets set for additional personal training sessions. Establishing key objectives and activities in order to deliver annual targets, including the recruitment of new members.

The Person:

Applicants must have:

A recognised qualification in fitness instructing/coaching minimum level one REPS.

At least one years' experience within a similar role.

Up to date First aid certificate. Proven experience in customer care. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. A flexible approached to working shift patterns including weekdays and weekends.

Desirable;

A recognised qualification in group exercise (desirable). Lifeguarding certificate (desirable).
