Mpeople are excited to be recruiting for Fitter / Assembler for our client who are a manufacturing company based in Oldham.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business with a lot of long standing staff.
Salary: 31,500
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday - 8am - 4:30pm
Friday - 8am - 3:15pm
Free onsite parking
Our client is seeking an experienced Fitter / Assembler who is hard working and committed and has the ability to read engineering drawings.
Responsibilities:
Studying and interpreting technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics and diagrams required to complete tasks. Reading and confirming the parts list, interpret measurements and verify specifications. Determining availability of materials and tools. Assembling components and ensuring that all parts are fitted correctly. Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing repairs. Performing preventive maintenance and reporting and resolving assembly line issues. Keeping the workspace clean. Adhering to health and safety requirements of the company and the industry. Conserving resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste
Experience:
You must be able to read engineering drawings Mechanical fitter Assembly experience Understanding of Health & Safety
