This role involves the assembly of components, ensuring that all work meets the highest quality standards.
The Fitter will work closely with other team members to deliver projects on time and to specification.
Duties
Fabricate and assemble components using hand tools and power tools.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics accurately.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
Qualifications
Proven experience in electrical/hydraulic fitting is advantageous
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools effectively.
Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations are essential.
Ability to read engineering drawings and follow technical instructions.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Standard working hours 07.00 to 15.30 Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 13.50-14.00 per hour
