Job Title: Fixed Plant Fitter
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: 55,000 - 65,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Overview:
My client, a leading manufacturer are looking for a skilled Fixed Plant Fitter to join the team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing processing plant equipment, helping to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned and emergency maintenance on plant machinery such as conveyors, screens, and separators
- Develop and improve preventative maintenance systems to reduce downtime
- Assist with new equipment installations and fabrication tasks as needed
- Identify and suggest ways to improve plant processes
- Strong technical knowledge of static plant machinery
- Experience with hydraulics, electrical repairs, and welding desired
- Ability to plan and carry out maintenance schedules effectively
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Solid understanding of health and safety practices
- Flexible and able to work to deadlines
- Full UK driving licence
