Fixed Wire Electrical Tester

Location: Aldershot / Guildford

Purpose of Role

We are working with one of the UK's leading compliance and electrical testing specialists to recruit a Fixed Wire Electrical Tester around Aldershot & Guildford.

This role offers an opportunity to work with customers drawn from every sector, public and private, and include HM Prison Service, Cancer Research UK, Dixons Carphone, McDonalds, Siemens, Zurich Insurance, and the Scottish Police Authority.

Responsibilities

Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and complete PPM tasks Carry out small electrical installations with strong customer focus Ensure compliance by producing method statements, risk assessments, and point-of-work assessments Maintain accurate records using mobile devices Liaise with clients to minimise disruption during works Work flexibly across shifts and travel between sites as required Attend team meetings to review performance and compliance updates

Essential Qualifications/Skills

Previous experience in a similar electrical testing role using various testing equipment Previously worked a mobile basis Ability to work flexibly, including shift patterns and travel as dictated by business needs 18th Edition & NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation/Maintenance or Time-Served 2391 Testing & Inspection (ESSENTIAL) Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points)
