As a Warehouse Specialist reporting to the Warehouse, Operations Manager, you will be at the core of Moderna's operational flow, ensuring material readiness for cutting-edge manufacturing. This hands-on role is essential to ensuring timely and compliant material movement to support drug substance production and delivery to fill and finish CMOs. You will take ownership of warehouse operations, SAP transactions, and material compliance activities, contributing to the seamless function of Moderna's Harwell facility. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong sense of precision, safety, and dedication to quality who is looking to deepen their expertise in advanced biotech manufacturing. You will also have the opportunity to engage with digital systems and automation and get close to generative AI tools supporting logistics optimization.


Here's What You'll Do:



Your key responsibilities will be:



Receiving and verifying incoming production materials and ensuring compliant storage practices. Picking, labeling, and moving materials to support internal manufacturing operations. Performing cycle counts and managing inventory adjustments through SAP. Handling material transport activities using a powered industrial truck (PIT). Ensuring cleanliness of materials entering manufacturing through wipe down procedures. Managing expired material segregation and proper disposition.

Your responsibilities will also include:



Coordinating material deliveries to internal customers independently. Completing material return processes and SAP transactions for reintegration into inventory. Practicing and promoting safe working habits in line with Moderna's safety guidelines. Preparing drug substance shipments for timely delivery to external fill and finish CMO partners. Supporting Moderna's digital transformation by engaging with inventory systems and automation platforms.

You will operate at the intersection of materials management and digital operations, leveraging SAP and potentially engaging with AI-supported logistics tools to enhance efficiency and traceability in Moderna's fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Here's What You'll Need (Basic Qualifications):



High School diploma or equivalent, BS/BA Degree preferred. 2 years of experience in Warehouse Operations and Shipping. This position is site-based, requiring you to be at Moderna's site full-time. This position is not eligible for remote work. As part of Moderna's commitment to workplace safety, this role may require an enhanced pre-employment check.
