Our amazing business needs a commercial Store Manager for our York Flagship store in York. This is our biggest and busiest store in The Yorkshire Soap Company brand and we encourage high standards of service and presentation to accompany it.

We'd like someone to drive and lead the retail store team to delivering exceptional service and retail standards. In return we will provide a safe, secure and progressive environment, where your voice will be heard, and your actions will be recognised.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced store manager from a retail background with line management responsibility. We want someone who is commercially focused, highly organised and structured in approach, is a strong leader and has a strong vision on how our beautiful York Shop is presented to our customers.

:

Delivering exceptional customer service and achieving the expected KPI's set,

Managing the safety of the store team and ensuring all health and safety measures are in place.

Managing and overseeing shop operations, ensuring efficient functioning of the shop, managing the sales floor and providing maximum profitability.

Human resources including recruiting, training, managing rotas, assigning responsibilities, performance management and setting sales targets.

Administering accounting functions, meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales and financial targets, managing budgets and generating payroll.

Controlling inventory to ensure sufficient stock, daily and weekly counts, rotated and changed by seasons and sales.

. Full time, 40 hours plus, over 5 days out of 7. Weekend work is expected in this role.
