Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled roofing Supervisor to oversee daily operations on behalf of a leading UK-wide waterproofing contractor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in flat roofing and construction, demonstrating expertise in using various hand and power tools, installation of various flat roofing systems and be comfortable assisting in the delivery of projects in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role requires effective leadership, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of flat roofing subcontractors. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations while on-site. Assist with toolbox talks and the daily management of site paperwork and operatives. Oversee general health and safety daily and ensure the site is adhering to health and safety standards at all times Assist in the planning and execution of projects involving roofing and slabbing. Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to management. Maintain an organised work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly.
Driving licence is required for this position. Car allowance of 10% of annual salary

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry, specifically roofing. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Familiarity with varied flat roofing systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by project demands. Comfortable with daily site paperwork, Daily briefings, toolbox talks and site progress reporting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.

Pay: 40,000.00-44,000.00 per year
