Full-Time | Hall Farm (near Auchterarder) | Workshop and Site Support
We are looking for a skilled Fleet and Plant Co-ordinator to look after our company vehicles, lorries, plant and lifting equipment. This role is based mainly at Hall Farm and involves servicing, inspections, planned maintenance and basic repairs. You will help keep equipment safe, compliant and ready for use across our civil engineering projects in Scotland.
The role is best suited to a time-served mechanic who is confident working independently and who takes care and pride in their work. You must be organised, steady under pressure and comfortable responding to issues that arise during the working week. Experience with HGVs, vans or construction plant would be very helpful.
Your main duties will include carrying out servicing and repairs, supporting MOT checks, completing six-weekly HGV inspections, attending breakdowns when required, and managing workshop stock and parts. You will also work with external garages and suppliers and help us plan future vehicles and equipment.
We are looking for someone with a solid mechanical background, ideally with experience of LOLER inspections or other lifting equipment requirements. If you have not carried out LOLER inspections before but have good experience working on HGVs or plant, we are still interested in speaking to you as training can be supported. A practical and reliable approach is important, together with good communication skills and a willingness to work closely with managers and suppliers.
In return, you will join a friendly team, work with good tools and equipment, and take on a role that has real value in keeping our operations running safely and efficiently. You will have responsibility from day one and will be part of a business that continues to grow its fleet and capability.
