The role:




Cabin Safety and Procedures Co-ordinator

Salary: 36,000 - 40,000




This role supports the Head of Cabin Crew (HoCC) in the development and maintenance of Cabin Company manuals, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory authorities. It also contributes to the creation and upkeep of standard operating procedures and emergency protocols across all aircraft variants while supporting adherence to onboard safety procedures through the execution of appropriate risk assessments. Additionally, the role is responsible for investigating Cabin Safety Reports and assisting the department in its commitment to achieving the highest standards of safety through the production of accurate and actionable management information.

What you'll do:



In the absence of the Head of Cabin Crew (HoCC), act as the liaison between BA Euroflyer and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on matters relating to cabin safety standards and procedural compliance Provide management information to measure operational safety within the Cabin department Carry out safety assessments and risk assessments on onboard cabin initiatives Operate as Senior Cabin Crew with flying duties expected to increase during the summer to support operational needs and to ensure continued proficiency in all current cabin crew procedures. Work closely with the HoCC to update manuals and draft SOP's Production of cabin safety booklets, guides, crew notices and newsletters Provide trend analysis and safety data for relevant safety meetings Work with the HoCC with ongoing safety project work within the Cabin department Deputise for the HoCC as required for matters relating to cabin safety Any other departmental requirements as determined by HoCC

Your experience:



Experience of working as Senior Cabin Crew IT proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel packages Experience of creating reports, analysing data, producing graphs/charts and providing summaries Experience of working in an administration role A working knowledge of airline safety system and the processing of Safety Reports (desirable) Experience of writing manuals and procedures within a regulated environment (desirable) Experience of working with the CAA within the safety field (desirable) Experience of working in a cabin safety officer role (desirable)
