We're now seeking an experienced Fleet and Plant Coordinator to oversee the maintenance, operation, and strategic management of our vehicles, machinery, and plant equipment.
The Role
As Fleet and Plant Coordinator you'll ensure our assets are safe, compliant, cost-effective, and always ready for action. Working closely with project managers and suppliers, you'll manage all aspects of our fleet and plant operations, from procurement and servicing to replacement planning and efficiency improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain all company vehicles and plant machinery to the highest standards.
Oversee maintenance schedules, inspections, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Control budgeting, cost tracking, fuel management, and asset utilization.
Source and negotiate with external contractors and suppliers for repairs, hire, and procurement.
Implement and monitor preventative maintenance and fleet management systems.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legislation, and operator's licence (where applicable).
Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, uptime, and sustainability across the fleet.
About You:
Proven experience in a similar Fleet, Plant, or Asset Coordinator role.
Strong knowledge of vehicles, heavy plant, and equipment maintenance.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
Proficient with fleet management systems and asset tracking software.
Full driving licence
