As a Regional Fleet Auditor, you'll be at the heart of our transport compliance strategy, working with our depots in the
South of England and Wales
. This is a home-based role with significant variety - you will be required to audit operations, analyse performance data, and directly influence best practices that reduce fleet risk and enhance safety standards across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading comprehensive transport audits
across southern based depots, identifying trends and implementing best practice solutions to drive compliance
Monitoring critical KPIs
including tachograph compliance, vehicle maintenance standards, and accident statistics
Creating and distributing management reports
that drive decision-making at senior levels
Developing compliance strategies
that adapt to changing legislation and industry regulations
Supporting business improvement projects
to increase operational efficiency and safety standards
Providing expert guidance
to Bidfood personnel on transport compliance matters
Jobholder Requirements:
Transport industry experience
, ideally with HGVs or within a busy transport department
Strong analytical skills
with the ability to work with data and drive evidence-based decisions
Excellent communication abilities
- you'll be presenting to senior management teams and required to lead audits with confidence
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
(Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other IT systems
Self-motivation and flexibility
with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering exceptional results
Full UK driving licence
- this role involves significant travel including overnight stays
High attention to detail
with a practical, challenging mindset
