Job Description

Leeds Parcel Company, based in LS11 and part of EFS Group have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet & Compliance Manager to join our experienced and dedicated team. EFS is a fast-growing and successful Logistics company with over 30 key depots throughout the UK.

The Fleet & Compliance Manager is a key member of the operations within the depot, and primarily responsible for ensuring the vehicles and fleet are compliant with company requirements and legislation. You will also be responsible for investigating accidents, and new starter inductions.

Transport Role Responsibilities:



Driver's hours regulations, defect reporting, vehicle maintenance including service schedules, driving licence adherence, Driver CPC training. Overseeing and updating the maintenance plan for all of vehicles within our fleet Monitor and manage Tachograph Reports and coach drivers with regards to driving hours, regulations and compliance Samsara management, Insurance, accident investigation and reporting. Monitor health and safety compliance for the vehicles and the yard

Health & Safety and Personnel Management



Create induction packs for new starters and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and payroll information is passed on in a timely manner. Deliver part of the induction process for new employees. Deal with any misconduct appropriately and if necessary, implement our disciplinary/grievance procedure. Deal with complaints received regarding driver misbehaviour. Training - monitor and arrange refresher training for staff for Fire Safety, First Aid, FLT counterbalance, etc.

Requirements

:

CPC National qualification is required Proven experience in Transport Management & Transport/Fleet Compliance Understanding of legislation -working hours WTD H&S qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH desirable Competence with Microsoft packages and ability to learn new systems

Working Hours:

Flexible to meet the business demands. Monday to Friday plus on call. In return, we are able to offer a competitive salary of 35,000 pa with a review after 6 months
