Job Description


Advert Responsibility for collating, processing, and uploading all financial information to the ledger maintaining recording transactions. Controlling and coordinating asset list in the Fleet Management system for new and old assets. Monitoring and coordinating the service scheduling to ensure smooth workshop loading. Processing Directs and Stock orders to GRN stage before passing on to Business support to complete. Auditing system for any fault or defects and rectifying orders to allow to proceed. Monitoring and coordinating transport functions for user departments including vehicle maintenance, operator\'s licence compliance, training operations, tachograph monitoring, tracker operation, and reporting, ensuring the safe operation of the council fleet is maintained for all vehicles, users, and passengers. Assisting in ensuring that all quality assurance, compliance, and vehicle/driver checks Licence checks Tracker fobs and fuel pins are recorded, coordinated, uploaded. Along with coordinating with Compliance team to log and recharge appointments and issue certification for councils driving assessment programme. Coordinate and record technical assessments of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and material condition to ensure compliance of Council fleet with DVSA safe working standards. In addition, you will assist in investigations, insurance claims, driver related incidents and to be record enforcement actions within compliance across the Council. It is essential that you have some knowledge of transport operations, fleet maintenance, scheduling, Job cards, directs, stock purchasing and operating the associated software. It is also essential you have a relevant qualification or relevant experience, effective communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of working in both an office and workshop environment and have effective IT skills across a range of software packages. A full driving license is desirable for this post. If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
