Overview




From the Kitchens, our shops, and the businesses it serves, COOK Logistics provide the knowledge to transport our meals from A to B and ensures that every customer whether that be internally or externally have a remarkable experience, every time.





Main responsibilities:







Be responsible for the management of the Local Delivery Fleet on a day-to-day basis ensuring vehicle compliance with legal undertakings as per our Operators Licence.

Adhere to fleet maintenance schedules including servicing, six weekly inspections, MOT's and defect reporting.

Management of the Local Delivery Fleet on a day-to-day basis, being the first point of contact for shops ensuring routine administration and compliance are adhered to.

Deliver Shop Leader and Driver training to achieve a Remarkable customer experience while adhering to all required safety and compliance protocols including accident procedures.

Administer LD Driver compliance checks to ensure drivers are fit and legal to drive with support from the Transport Manager.

Provide LD support for Shop Leaders, troubleshooting where necessary.

Maintain up to date Fleet lists including the Motor Insurers Database.

Administer the LD vehicle accident process in conjunction with our insurer to contain claim costs.

Visit shops regularly to conduct vehicle audits.

Deal with vehicle maintenance and repairs as necessary while maximising vehicle up time.

Administer PCN's and other Traffic Offence Notices and follow up in conjunction with shop leaders.

Manage the LD purchase order and invoice authorisation process in an accurate and timely manner.

In conjunction with the Head of Local Delivery maintain fleet and driver levels in line with schedule to efficiently fulfil sales and track seasonal and Retail estate trends.

Present agreed KPI's for weekly reporting.

Assist with other fleet activities as requested by the Transport Manager.




Ideally You Will Have







Relevant Fleet Operation training.

National Road Haulage Operations.

An understanding of the Cook Retail Operation.

Experience of supplier relationships.

Any vocational training relevant to the position e.g. Health and Safety.

Good written and verbal communication with suitable IT skills.
