Job Description

We are looking for a Fleet Manager with at least 1 year experience in the automotive or car rental industry to join our team. Our fleet currently consists of cars, vans and MPV's.

In this role your duties and responsibilities will be:

Managing Services, MOT's, tax and repairs on all vehicles. Organising vehicle swaps and courtesy cars with customers when their hire vehicle needs maintenance or work carried out. Arranging fleet movement from the office to garages etc. Solving general vehicle issues to ensure vehicles are off the road for as little time possible. Dealing with vehicle recovery and breakdowns. Liaising with the different garages and dealers in regards to maintenance of vehicles and general issues. Dealing with the defleets of lease vehicles ensuring the repair costs and time off the road is at a minimum. Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection. Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain vehicle availability. Utilizing GPS systems in all vehicles to monitor drivers and track vehicles in case of theft Finding ways to cut overall costs of the fleet.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for somebody with the ability to think proactively and find solutions quickly and effectively, this candidate ideally should have great attention to detail and have experience in fleet management.

Have at least one year's experience and a good knowledge and thorough understanding of UK road transport legislation, including goods MOT requirements and construction and use regulations.

We are not only looking for a good level of experience in this industry/field, but an individual who can express themselves well, take charge of situations where they are required and who can think effectively on their feet.

Part time or full time, willing to work with the correct candidate.

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
