Where will you be working?





As an organisation, there is little we don't do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.



This role is in our

Plant & Fleet department,

our Plant & Fleet supports teams across our business with their vehicle, plant and specialist equipment needs, offering hire solutions that are commercially effective, reliable, safe and compliant.

What will you be doing?





In this role, you'll take the lead on making sure our fleet provision is delivered with care, precision and reliability. You'll be the go-to person when it comes to policies, ensuring everything stays on track and fully aligned with our standards.



Together with a supportive fleet team, you'll manage the day-to-day operations, juggling responsibilities and solving problems with a practical, people-first mindset. You'll also guide key projects that shape our future--whether it's helping mobilise new parts of the business or integrating fresh initiatives into our operations.



We'll rely on you to make sure that our mileage expenses are accurate and compliant, and that every part of our fleet meets current legal regulations as well as company procedures. Building strong relationships with our suppliers and keeping service levels high will be second nature to you, and you'll keep a close eye on performance to help us learn, improve, and grow.



You won't be working in isolation--your input will be integral to employee mobility projects, and you'll be connecting across teams like People, Procurement and Finance to make things happen. What you'll bring



+ Experience in performance management, operational fleet delivery, salary sacrifice and grey fleet administration.
+ Knowledge on how to translate complex data into practical, business-ready decisions.
+ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside excellent interpersonal skills. Embraces change, fosters resilience in others and drives continuous improvement.
+ Financial awareness with confidence in managing resources and fleet management systems.
+ A flexible and proactive mindset, with willingness to travel as required.
+ Valid manual driving licence.
