An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a qualified motor vehicle technician to join our mobile team in Lincolnshire providing mechanical repairs and routine maintenance to our fleet of front line A+E vehicles as well as support vehicles including all specialist ancillary and patient handling equipment.
Providing a high level of service you will ensure there are enough A+E vehicles available to respond to the needs of our patients both in Lincolnshire and the wider East Midlands Region.
No two days are the same whether that be the repairs you are completing or the area you are working in ensuring a varied and interesting workload with a high level of responsibility and job satisfaction.
You should have an appropriate Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering or equivalent experience, with one years post training experience of working on vehicles of all types but in particular LCVs up to 7.5 tonnes would be advantageous.
The applicant will need a C1 Driving Licence or be prepared to attain this within the 9 month probation period.
The hours of work are 07:00 - 17:00 on a shift rota including weekends and Bank Holidays.

The post will entail the servicing and mechanical repairs of Ambulances and Fast Response vehicles. It is an exciting opportunity to broaden your mechanical experience to work on the specialised equipment on emergency service vehicles.
